Clay Bead and Leather Cord Bracelet
A few weeks ago, I was on Brit + Co and found a fantastic tutorial on how to make these lovely jewel cut beads. I fell in love. I just had to go out an purchase some clay of my own. While I was at my local craft store, I picked up some lovely leather cord as well to make myself a bracelet.
You can tell that I had a ton of fun making these beads. I'm still making more for other projects. For the tutorial on how to make the beads, click here.
Once your beads are baked and dry, a small knot at one end of your leather cord. Slip a bead onto the cord and secure a knot on the other side of the bead to keep it in place.
At the opposite end of the cord, tie a slip knot.
Wrap the bracelet loosely around your wrist. Slip the bead through the slip knot and cinch down. Done!
Super cute, huh! I even decided to make one to keep my notebook closed. More for decorative purposes, but cute none the less.
Hope you all have a fantastic Thursday. I have to tell you, Lou and I planned out pretty much most of our posts for the rest of the year. We are so excited for what we have coming up. There is so much to get ready for: tasty food, adorable decor, and so much more for the holidays. We can't wait to show you what we have in store. Much love, Lynn!
