PATTERNED SKIRT + JEWEL TONED SHIRT

Hello lovely readers! We made it to Friday. I can not tell you what a roller coaster the last week has been. Thank you all for your lovely comments on our new blog layout yesterday! Lynn and I are absolutely loving the new renovations.

I was desperately in need of a few new dress skirts, and a little bit of retail therapy, so I took it upon myself last week to hit up the local Forever 21, in efforts to try and keep things frugal, and I found this lovely skirt! I immediately fell in love with the pattern and the colors. I figure every girl needs a skirt that literally says "Here I am, look at me!" I paired it with a jewel toned top because lets face it, jewel tones are a must for every closet. I think that this lovely eggplant looks wonderful on just about every skin tone. The best part, the shirt is so soft and I love the 3/4 length sleeve. I topped off the outfit with a sophisticated bag from H&M that I purchased several years ago but don't have nearly enough places to wear it. I love it though, so I simply must find myself an invite to a super important business meeting.

So, last little tid bit of news, the Mr and I are moving. I can finally announce it. We have been living in a tiny apartment for the last two years and it has increasingly become smaller with all of my incessant holiday purchases. I really need to find a support group for home decorators. But not now pf course, because now I have a whole new big condo to fill. We are so excited to be moving! I will definitely be keeping all of you lovelies posted on the process. You always have wonderful and awful stories to tell after a big move. Have a lovely weekend everyone! xx. Lou.
