The New Wool Sweater

On Monday I was faced with a dilemma that, growing up in California, I thought I would never have to face. What do I wear to an 8am class when I have 10 minutes to get ready and it is a whole -2 degrees outside? No, that is not a typo. It was literally -2 degrees on my drive to class. No, I was not okay with it. Yes, I survived. barely. But back to my dilemma, what to wear?

I ended up pairing my go-to black leggings with my new wool sweater. My sweet mother-in-law gifted this to me over the weekend and I am officially in love. Not only is it so warm I can handle the bitter cold but it is the perfect color to pair with just about anything. I topped everything off with a simple striped infinity scarf, favorite brown boots, and red beanie. (That may or may not have been added at the last minute to cover up the bed head, but I'm not admitting to anything)

Overall, it was a successful day, I made it to class on time and I didn't freeze on my way there. I would have to say it was an exceptional start to the school week. Now only a semester left of fighting off the bitter cold... Oh boy, just writing that sentence gave me chills. Happy Wednesday readers! xx. Lou
