Questionnaire for Lynn and Lou: Part 1

We thought it might be fun for us to share a little bit about ourselves today. We asked each other four questions
we thought would be a dynamic look at us and what makes us tick. Enjoy!

Lou says: Okay, I am a complete book worm, I love reading all the time. But no series has had me as excited as the Harry Potter series. I may or may not have a Harry Potter Pinboard and am counting down the days until my trip to Harry Potter Land at Universal Studios, Florida, in November.

Lynn says: This might seem real childish but I am in love with the series Phineas and Ferb. My husband and I will get up on Saturday mornings and see if there are new episodes on Netflix. I may or may not have a desire to name one of my future children Phineas and call him "Finn." I just love how imaginative the kids are and I really love Candace's bogus attempts to bust them. I have a plush Perry sitting on my computer in my office. Makes me smile.

Lou says: I find that "home" for me is wherever my family is. I lived in San Diego for almost my whole life and while I love returning for the occasional visit I feel more at "home" in Meridian, Idaho where I am surrounded by my family. Going home for Christmas with the Mr was so wonderful this year because I was surrounded by so many people that I love. Sharing that with him was so wonderful.

Lynn says: I moved from San Diego to Idaho for school when I was eighteen. I met the Mr when I was in my last semester in school and he still had a few years left to complete his studies. I ended up in Idaho for ten years. We have since moved to New Mexico and things are still very new for me here. Since we have moved a bit since we have been married, and this might sound cheesy, home is really wherever my Mr is. We just balance each other so well that I feel so at home when he is near me.

Lou says: Garrett and I met 4 1/2 years ago. He was 3 1/2 years older then me and I thought he would never be interested, but I kept my hopes up and a few months later we decided to date officially. He lived in Salt Lake City so it was long distance for 2 1/2 years, but it was wonderful every month when we would visit each other. He proposed to me on Thanksgiving Day (my favorite holiday) 2010 and we were married June 25th 2011 in San Diego. The last four years have been the most romantic, exciting, loving years of my life.

Lynn says: I met the Mr. at school. He was knocking doors one day to meet all the new girls in our church group. When he came into my apartment, I thought he looked like young Harrison Ford. Anyone who knows me well, knows that I LOVE young Harrison Ford. A few months went by and he was taking interest in my roommate, or so I thought. We dated for not very long when I knew that he was going to be the man I married. He proposed to me using the same speech that Mr. Collins used in Pride and Prejudice. "...and now let me tell you of the violence of my affections." We were married in San Diego on the 29th of December in 2006. I have a priceless picture of Lou outside my reception with tears in her eyes, sad that I was married.

Lou says: I have two dreams... I would love to own my own clothing boutique. I love the feel that you get when you walk into a boutique rather then a commercial store, the sales associates are all so friendly and helpful and I would love to own of my own one day. I would also love to travel the world doing humanitarian aid. I love learning new languages, I speak Spanish and I am learning French right now, I hope that one day I will be able to use my languages to aid in South America and Africa.

Lynn says: I am really on the cusp of doing my dream job. I would love to own my own patterned paper, fine art and stationery store. I am trying to create those things to fill a shop. I would love to follow in the footsteps of these ladies at Ampersand Design Studio. If I wasn't doing that, I would like to run an awareness campaign to girls who are in "Gamer Relationships" meaning girls who are dating guys who just play video games all day.
